Soulja Boy arrested for fleeing police

Soulja Boy, born DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested for obstruction Wednesday night after running away from police after being ordered to stop, reports CNN.
The 19-year-old rapper told police he was filming a video with a group of about 40 people outside a home in Stockbridge, Ga., 20 miles south of Atlanta. Police responded to a complaint that a group was hanging around the house, and about half of the group fled on foot when they arrived, including Way.
Way returned later to pick up his vehicle, and explained the video shoot to police and that he thought the house was abandoned. Way was taken to the Henry County jail, where he posted the $550 bail and was released Thursday, according to MTV.
Latice Wayne Grier, 18, was also arrested and charged with forgery when police found eight $100 bills in his vehicle. Grier was also released from jail Thursday on $10,050 bond. There were no other arrests at the scene.
