Fidel Castro's sister testifies in plot to assassinate him

Fidel Castro’s sister Juanita Castro stated that she connected with the CIA against her brother while she visited Mexico in 1961.

Juanita was behind her brother in overthrowing Batista dictatorship back in 1959. However soon afterwards she began doubting his actions and in a Spanish memoir she described the events that took place during her meeting with the CIA officer.

“I want to be very clear that agreeing to collaborate with you does not signify that I will participate in any violent activity against my brother, nor any official in the regime,” she told the officer.

Fidel Castro warned his sister about taking sides with the enemies that went against the revolution. Tony “Enrique” Sforza was the CIA officer Juanita collaborated with and he asked her if she can covertly send documentations and cash from Cuba into Mexico.
