Remember the Cranberries?
You know, that guilty-pleasure band of ’90s stigma with that cute, short-haired, Irish leadsinger who isn’t named Annie Lennox.
Well, after a 6-and-a-half year hiatus, the band played a reunion gig Thursday night in Baltimore.
Front woman Dolores O’Riordan said of the band’s time apart, “Babies were born. We had fun in the bedroom.”
According to Spin, the band pumped out old favorites Thursday night that had the energetic crowd singing along. Hits like “Zombie,” “Can’t Be with You,” and obvious encore “Dreams,” were all received with applause and nostalgia.
The set also included songs from O’Riordan’s recent solo record, “No Baggage,” which was released Aug. 25.
The reunited band will continue touring North America through Dec. 7 before going to Europe for additional dates in March of next year.
