Amy Winehouse spent night in hospital after bad reaction to meds

Amy Winehouse was admitted to the hospital Sunday night after an allergic reaction to medication, reports MTV UK. The singer was told by a doctor to visit the London Clinic after she became ill from over-the-counter cold medication and another that Winehouse takes to battle drug addiction.
After feeling sick Sunday morning, a doctor visited Winehouse at home and advised her to go to the hospital for further evaluation, reports NME.
"Amy took over-the-counter stuff for a cold but it didn't agree with medication she takes for her ongoing recovery," a source told British tabloid, The Mirror. Winehouse, who has publicly struggled with addicition, spent the night in the hospital and is “doing fine.”
The medications Winehouse had a bad reaction to were apparently legitimate and not illegal, according to Prefix. Winehouse has claimed that her “days of substance abuse are long behind her.”
Winehouse is also reportedly planning to get a nose job soon, following breast augmentation the singer had recently.
