Nicolas Cage sued by former business manager

The famed action-movie star Nicolas Cage is being sued by his former business manager, who claims that Cage's lavish spending is to blame for his financial failure.
Samuel L. Levin filed a suit against Cage on Nov. 12, arguing that he warned the actor in 2001 of outspending his paychecks. Levin is looking for a declaration that claims he didn't charge Cage excessively for his services and is owed $129,000 for off-the-clock work.
Cage has been experience severe financial problems recently, forced to sell some of his property. The Internal Revenue Service has also filed more than $6.6 million in tax liens against the actor.
Levin has been a licensed public accountant in California for over 25 years, with records showing no previous reports of disciplinary actions.
