Tim Burton, who has worked on such acclaimed films as "Edward Scissorhands" and "Nightmare Before Christmas," appeared at the Museum of Modern Art last night to launch an exhibit which displays paintings, puppets and drawings from his films.
The show, which runs from Nov. 22 to April 26, was highly anticipated by the museum and displays images that have never bee released before. Joining Burton at his exhibit was wife and actress Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, composer Danny Elfman and long-time friend and actor Danny DeVito.
Also on display are art pieces from when Burton was a student and early work for non-professional films. It is not yet clear if the exhibit will show art from the director's upcoming film, "Alice in Wonderland."
