Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident on Friday morning, according to Fanhouse.com

The Florida Highway Patrol said, “Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident outside his home last night… He was admitted, treated and released today in good condition.”

Woods 2009 black Escalade crashed into a fire hydrant and drove into a tree onto a person’s property. He was taken to the Health Central Hospital in Ocoee Florida with injuries, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

“There was Tiger Woods lying on the ground in front of the vehicle with his wife over him rendering first aid,” Police Chief Daniel Saylor told reporters. However, he added “things like this happen all the time… I understand he’s stable and he’s fine,” CNN reports.

Woods was treated for facial wounds, and alcohol was ruled out as a cause of the crash.
