Rumors of a potential breakup between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have captured the headlines in recent weeks.

The two A-List celebrities managed to put those rumors to rest while attending Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday night. They appeared at Sun Life Stadium in Miami in a V.I.P. skybox to cheer on the New Orleans Saints along with their eight-year-old son Maddox, who was spotted wearing his Drew Brees jersey, according to People.com.

Maddox was noticeably happy after the game was over due to the fact that Brees was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLIV and the Saints were victorious by a final score of 31-17. However, photographers focused primarily on his parents throughout the game as they cheered on the Saints but more noteworthy than that, they showed numerous public displays of affection including laughing, hugging and kissing.

A spectator commented on their frequent PDA throughout the Super Bowl by saying, “Brad and Angelina looked perfectly happy together. It seems impossible that there were all of those recent reports suggesting they were separating.”

According to The New York Daily News, New Orleans is one of Pitt and Jolie’s most adored cities as evidenced by their efforts to revive it after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 as well as the $3.5 million mansion that they purchased in New Orleans’ French quarter.
