A lot has been said of Zac Efron's maturity with his new role in Charlie St. Cloud. As we can see, it’s not just his career that’s maturing. Us Weekly reports that during a trip to New York, he and a few buddies hit the strip clubs! Earlier this week, the New York Post reported that Efron had been seen coming out of Flashdancers Gentleman’s club.

Zac spoke of the experience on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying that he had asked permission from his girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, before he went. But he said it wasn’t easy for him to do. “The hardest thing was calling your girlfriend before. How do you even start that conversation without feeling like a total a**hole?,” he said

Although she was fine with it, Zac seemed a little disappointed by the entire experience. He claimed not to be a big spender, saying, “I had this image of what it'd be like. I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music -- they're supposed to be pretty reputable! So I envisioned myself in a nice couch with 'stunna shades' with T-Pain and Usher making it rain money. And it just wasn't like that."
