Katy Perry's upcoming wedding to actor Russell Brand will hopefully to be graced with the coolest crooning wedding singer anyone could ask for. Katy Perry's sights are set on ex-Smiths front man as well as successful solo artist, Morrissey, to be the musical force behind the ceremony.
According to Spin Magazine, Perry and Morrissey recently met and had a nice conversation over tea in which the possibility of him performing at the ceremony came up. Morrissey is not 100 % for the institution of marriage.
As he said to Perry, "Oh, left hand third finger, don't do it." In 2004, he shared his ideas of marriage by saying, "I don't believe in that at all," adding, "I still prefer horses to human beings."
Maybe so Morrissey, but both Perry and Brand, who Morrissey is friends with, are hoping for him to be the man with the mic for their November marriage, which will take place in India.
